Two Directors are managing the business. This centre is being run with an investment of Rs.60.00 lakhs. There are 15 dealership of reputed Companies for supply of high quality plant protection chemicals, micro nutrients, plant growth regulators weedicides, seeds and drip materials. Both organic and inorganic inputs are marketed. The Agro Service Centre organizes regular training programme for containing the nematode, organizes exposure visits to trade fairs and farms of special significance in TN, AP, Telengana and Kerala. Further, the Agro Service Centre serves as training centre for FPOs which would like to commence agri input business and provide hands on training on double entry system, inventory management, finance management and agro advisory. There are 12 FPCs which have undertaken the agri input business and EPF has networking with all of them to support their business. The benefits of various schemes of department of Agriculture, Horticulture, Marketing, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry, Rural Development, Coconut Development Board, Spices Board and Coir Board are dovetailed for the benefit of the shareholder members. Seeds and plants are imported for supply to state departments and farmers.
