This unit has been established with the grant support of Rs.60.00 lakhs under seed mission Project of GoI, implemented through Department of Agricultural marketing and Agri Business. The paddy varieties ADT 43, ADT 45, ADT (R) 46, TKM 13, CR 1009, CO 43 and Bhavani are the varieties under certification by seed certification department in 45 acres (2021-22) Apart from seed production, the harvested produces of farmers are received for cleaning and sorting before marketing. The seed processing may be 150 days in a year but the infrastructure is being used round the year by undertaking cleaning and grading of farm produce, including paddy, gingelly, ground nut and pulses.
